SXSW Film 2013 is almost upon us with festivities commencing March 8th. The official festival site has some pretty slick scheduling tools and a really great iPhone/iPad app this year. But for some of us no amount of technical innovation has improved upon a giant grid of films one can circle and draw lines between. As it turns out I'm one of those people. So beyond happy to learn today that the Austin Chronicle has available a giant single sheet version of the screening schedule. Which one can of course download and print.
I've now got myself a couple of printed 11x17" version of the schedule to go old school with over the weekend. After which I'll be back to share my hopefully achievable plans for the festival. Which best case will probably only last unchanged for a few hours after hitting Austin.
I've also been lucky enough to get some preview looks at bits of this years content. Full reviews will have to wait until films air. But later next week in addition to sharing my personal viewing plans I'll be sure to highlight anything I can recommend based on past viewing.
A big thanks to Larry Richman for pointing me to the grid.
