If you know where to look Seattle can be a true cornucopia of chances to see films before they're out in theaters. Today I'm happy to provide readers a head's up on one such free event. It's a screening of Red Lights and takes place Tues July 10th at Regal Thornton Place (which is just a few exits north of downtown Seattle).
According to IMDB.com the gist of the film is that "Psychologist Margaret Matheson and her assistant study paranormal
activity, which leads them to investigate a world-renowned psychic who
has resurfaced years after his toughest critic mysteriously passed away." It features Robert De Niro, Sigourney Weaver, Cillian Murphy, and Elizabeth Olsen.
The film is scheduled to start at 7pm - though as this is a first come first served overbooked situation you'll probably want to show up earlier than that. Regal Thornton Place features free parking and is right off the highway so I wouldn't let the short jaunt outside the city center deter you. The line tends to form inside - so you'll want to ask the ticket taker where to go upon arrival.
Just print the form linked here and enjoy the show!
